In January 2023, BYU–Hawaii's Hospitality and Tourism Management program attended the Travel & Adventure Show in Denver, Colorado–the largest B2C travel show in North America. Here, students gained firsthand insights into destination marketing strategies from all seven continents and learned how to operate large-scale trade shows.

This valuable experience was complemented by the program's recent recognition, ranking 16th on the 2023 list of the 50 Best Hospitality Management Programs in the United States by BestAccreditedColleges.org. This trip is also known as the Denver Imiloa trip.
