The Ho'okipa Society student club organized an October trip to the Hawaii Convention Center for 25 HTM students to attend an industry leaders panel discussion sponsored by the Pacific Asia Travel Association. Tourism executives shared their professional experiences and offered wonderful counsel to the student attendees, followed by a reception and trade show with great pupus and networking opportunities. These are terrific ways to enhance classroom learning with real-world experiences.
